Carlo van de Weijer (1966) has extensive experience in the automotive industry. He has worked for Siemens and TomTom, amongst others. He is the current director of the newly established Eindhoven Artificial Intelligence Systems Institute EAISI. Van de Weijer advises ministries and businesses around the world on the future of mobility. He is also a supervisory director of several high-tech companies and has been involved in multiple new-mobility start-ups.

Maarten Steinbuch(1960) is a high-tech systems scientist, entrepreneur and communicator. He is a professor at the TU/e and Scientific Director at Eindhoven Engine. His research extends from automotive engineering to mechatronics, motion control and fusion plasma control. Steinbuch is a prolific blogger and key opinion leader on the influence of new technologies on society. He is a strong advocate of electric vehicles.
