Iris Penning (1993) is a poet and musician. She has released four albums of her poetic pop and has performed on stages at numerous festivals, music venues, and theaters throughout the Netherlands and Belgium. She won the Flemish Nekka Award, was the longest-serving Poet Laureate of Eindhoven, and received the Eindhoven Culture Award in 2021 in recognition of her body of work. Her poems can be found in magazines and newspapers, on Eindhoven’s walls and paving stones, and now, they’re ready to be taken anywhere with this poetry collection!
