And from the coronavirus crisis, the refugee crisis, and the natural gas extraction crisis in Groningen? What can be taken from these experiences for the future, now that climate change, digitalization, and the energy transition are bringing new risks?
This book offers a collection of stories, lessons, and visions on the public safety of the Netherlands and the resilience of our society. It features voices from government officials, rescuers, experts, and citizens. Each one speaks candidly, providing food for thought and helping society to take concrete steps towards intensive cooperation among all parties involved in ensuring the public safety of the Netherlands.
