Five years ago a group of designers saw that the potential significance of design for the society had not been sufficiently recognized. Design was associated with styling or beauty. Few designers were aware of the possibility of design to identify the problems in society and help to solve them. The group decided to to create a platform under the name What Design Can Do! and calls on designers to use their skills to make the world a little better.
Since then, hundreds of designs from around the world were discussed, of which 31 brilliant ideas are collected in this book.
