The project FACESTORIES began on Facebook under the motto ‘Behind every face lies a story to be told’. Writer Ariëlla Kornmehl and photographer Julie Blik visited 100 famous and lesser-known Dutch people with the idea that everyone carries a story with them that is worth telling. This idea paid off and resulted in 100 personal stories and equally personal portraits.

The project is now being released in book-form. Beautifully designed, with the photos printed in duotone. One hundred revealing stories from one hundred inspiring Dutch people.
