Nuchterheid met een zachte G

Nuchterheid met een zachte G is the story with which Sandra Bernart won the Award for Eindhoven Writing Talent 2017. In addition to the winning story, the jury, led by Manon Uphoff, chose five stories from a total of 64 submissions. The six stories in this publication all together provide a varied picture of the writing talent in Eindhoven. They reveal what occupies the city and how different writers deal with “light”, the theme of this competition.

Based on the idea that there is plenty of talent in the city, Boekhandel Van Piere, Natlab by Plaza Futura, the Eindhoven Library and Coöperatie DELA took the initiative for the Eindhoven Writing Talent Award. This incentive prize, awarded for the second time in 2017, aims to contribute to a flourishing literary and creative culture in the city.
