Jasper Krabbé – Portraits

Hundreds of portraits by Jasper Krabbé brought together in a brick book.

Jasper Krabbé is a versatile artist but above all a portraitist. He made thousands of portraits and self-portraits on used materials such as envelopes, wrapping-paper and pages form books. He mixes their original functions with his personal images.

‘Portraits’ is a feast for the eye, thanks to the design, the execution, the size and above all the numerous portraits of acquaintances, strangers, women, men, boy, girls, elderly and youth. The images speak for themselves, so no explanatory text is included in the book. In the back section of the book, however, there a list of works with the titles, techniques and sizes is included.
