For her book, Rieja van Aart has selected 100 images from the hundreds she has created over the past 45 years.
The work is divided into four chapters, focusing primarily on still lifes, as well as inner landscapes composed in her studio and photographs that reference invisible spirits. Twenty of the photographs are printed in black and white, with the remainder in colour.
Art director Robert Scesa is responsible for the original layout. The texts—including a foreword by the French photographer and author Thierry Cardon—are presented in English, French, and Dutch.
