This extensive monograph presents all facets of the extremely versatile artistry of Aat Veldhoen (Amsterdam 1934). Paintings, graphics, drawings, images, photography, nothing escaped the artistic curiosity of this very productive artist, who continued producing art even after suffering a stroke in 2004, with the most important topic being: the woman. All artworks depicted in this monograph have been photographed especially for this publication by Pieter Boersma.

Wim van der Beek is an art critic, Anne Berk is an art reviewer, curator and educator, Mattie Boom is curator of photography at the Rijksmuseum, Rogier Ormeling is historian and publicist, Natasja Rietdijk is an artist and permanent model and assistant to Aat Veldhoen, Winnie Sorgdrager is a member of the Raad van State and director, Chris Reinewald is editor in chief of Museumvisie and has been writing since 1978 about fine and applied art.
